The going gets tough from the get go

Go man, go!

I’ve been halfway across the country during the last three weeks, shot around thirty bands and ate all sorts of pizza.

I’m still way behind and need to get my act together to get some photos online.  They’re coming, I swear!

In the meantime, here are a few highlights from just some of my misadventures:

Fort Dix, NJ

Spent a few days out here doing archeology work.  Little did I know that Southern Jersey is infested with all sorts of TICKS.  Here is one of the fuckers

Saugerties, NY

After nearly a week of digging holes in the woods just outside of Woodstock, I got a gnarly blister on my toe.  It wasn’t until I landed in Chicago (by way of Atlanta?!) that it got to look like this:

Chicago, IL

After over ten hours between three different hospitals and a bottle of Vicodin, I had to go in for my checkup today.  Wanna see?  SURE!

If you can’t tell what’s going on, the doctor is pulling my nail OFF of the toe.  It was taken off moments later.

So, here I am, Chicago, Illinois, with only nine toenails.
