Jane’s Addiction – June 5, 2009 – Camden, NJ
My plan to leave Buffalo at 10 a.m. was thwarted thanks to poor planning and time managment on my part. By the time I picked my prescriptions, hassled my boss and went to the bank it was 11:30. I got here in seven hours, including traffic, in the rain. If it wasn’t for my sheer ingenuity bathroom breaks could have severley added on to my time but…

Landed down in Philly at 6:30. Unloaded at Mike’s and went straight to the venue. Camden is horrible. It reminded me the bike ride from Chicago to Indiana where things start to get really shady near the border. Most of the structures were vandalized and vacant and some run-down that it was hard to identify what they once were.
Got into the venue halfway through Tom Morello’s new group, Street Sweeper Social Club. Same cheesy guitar parts but with new political ranting.
NIN were great. Pics soon. I walked around and saw a boat. It was big. Go me.
Jane’s came on just after 10. Setlist:
Three Days
Whores
Ain’t No Right
Pigs In Zen
Then She Did…
Up The Beach
Mountain Song
Been Caught Stealing
Had a Dad
Ocean Size
Ted, Just Admit it…
Summertime Rolls
Stop!
Jane Says
I laughed the entire time. It was great.
I feel severley ill. I keep twitching my body. My neck is doing crazy things and I am compulsively swallowing.
No time for spellcheck. Gotta hit up the rest of the city before Art Brut tonite.
